Spring 2020 Newsletter

Tips for reducing the spread of COVID-19

Happy Spring! We hope that this newsletter finds you and your family safe and healthy. Your LEHA board met today (physically distanced, of course!) and we would like to share the most current information we have with you!

In these unprecedented times, in accordance with state and county guidelines as stated in Section 10 of Stanislaus County’s April 22, 2020 Amended Health Order, the pool will remained closed until further notice. Along similar lines, we will not be reserving the park for parties due to social distancing requirements. If your family would like to play volleyball, badminton, or tether-ball, we ask that you bring your own equipment and take it with you when your family is done. If guidelines change, your LEHA Board will reconvene to discuss how those changes could affect our pool and park. Any changes will be posted on the gate at the pool, on our website, and distributed in a newsletter. Maintenance of the pool and park will continue.

Our new pool maintenance company, Vintage, is doing a fabulous job, keeping our pool looking beautiful! If the pool does not open at all this year, the money budgeted for lifeguards will be allocated to maintenance and/or improvements.

Unfortunately, it was also decided to cancel the annual Spring Clean-up Day and the LEHA 4th of July celebration at the park. We look forward to celebrating with our neighbors in future years! Our annual General Meeting that traditionally occurs in June has been postponed to a date TBD. It will take place later in the year either at the park, or via Zoom. We will keep you posted!

A few good neighbor notes:

  • When walking your dog, please bring bags and clean up after them. Some of the neighbors have complained about dog piles on their lawns or in the street. Please take your bag home, so that multiple people are not touching the garbage cans.
  • Please remember our CCR’s require homeowners keep their fences in good repair.
  • If you have placed items temporarily in your alley, please dispose of them in the garbage, or use the bulky item pick-up option from your garbage collector.
  • Mosquito season is quickly approaching. We did have West Nile infected mosquitoes in our area last season. Please clear any standing water to help prevent outbreaks.
  • Garage Sales are not allowed under current COVID-19 guidelines. Please help to keep our neighborhood traffic down.

LEHA board elections will be taking place in the fall. We will have up to two openings. Ballots will be included with the yearly statements mailed out this fall. If you are interested in running for, or nominating someone for a board position, please place a letter in the mailbox at the park listing your name and address, and the name, address, phone number and/or email address of the person you are nominating or fill out the nomination form.

Remember to check our website for updates, to email questions to the board@lincolnestatesha.org (including questions about dues), to nominate someone for the LEHA Board, or to pay your dues (a $10 convenience fee applies).

Stay healthy and safe!

Sincerely,
Your LEHA Board
